Most high-end projectors are DLP (except for Epson)
Single-chip DLP projectors use a mechanical color wheel
Typically we only specify laser light source projectors
Lamp life: 2000-5000 hours. Laser life: 20,000 hours +
Keep an eye on fan intakes and exhaust. All PJ manufacturers have minimum airspace requirements. If you provide less airspace you can void the PJ’s warranty. (we do this sometimes)
